Material:

Material can be amongst the most important thing to consider when purchases shelves for your business. What will you be using the shelves for? Will this be next to a sink or a work table? Do you want a plastic shelf of stainless steel shelf?

Stainless Steel Wall Shelves:

Wall mount shelving is ideal for storage above all prep tables. Stainless steel wall mount shelving is durable and generally has a good weight capacity to store important prep tools, while keeping them organized. Stainless steel wall shelves come in a large variety of lengths and widths, as well as custom sizes for perfect fits.

Stainless Steel Over Shelves:

Over shelving units are ideal for additional storage space above sandwich prep tables, stainless steel work tables, undercounter refrigerators, pizza prep tables, dough retarders and more. Often you see orders taped on to double over shelves on the opposite side where chefs can see them. Stainless steel over shelves are a space saver and a capacity gainer. Often made from heavy duty stainless steel with high weight capacities. When purchasing you will have a choice of adjustable shelves, or nonadjustable welded shelves

Chrome Wire Shelves:

Chrome plated wire shelving units are idea for storage in all business including foodservice. Wire shelving units are often used in offices, warehouses, retail, and more. Wire shelving units are sold by posts (which come in a large variety of heights) and shelves (which come in a large variety of lengths and widths). They are sold this way so you can create the best wire shelving units for your business.

Epoxy Wire Shelves:

Epoxy plated wire shelving units are idea for storage in all business including foodservice. Wire shelving units are often used in offices, warehouses, retail, and more. Wire shelving units are sold by posts (which come in a large variety of heights) and shelves (which come in a large variety of lengths and widths). They are sold this way so you can create the best wire shelving units for your business.

Posts:

Stationary posts are not designed for transport, although some stationary posts can be converted into mobile posts with the addition of casters. These should be used in areas that are consistently used for storage and aren’t often rearranged.

Do I need Casters?

Purchasing casters for your shelving unit can be convenient. Consider how limited your space is. If you have only enough room for the shelving unit casters may not be necessary. Casters are great when cleaning. With casters you can easily move the shelving unit. Casters generally come with locks, so if you need it to be stationary it will not move.

Shelf Ledges:

Shelf ledges are a great addition to wire shelving units. You can install them right on the wire shelving units and create additional storage space in minutes.

Cleaning Shelves:

Cleaning shelving units are important to keep your work environment sanitized and clean. When first receiving commercial grade stainless steel shelves it is a good idea to clean the stainless steel with a metal chemical or bleach. After the first clean Windex, or soap with water will work perfectly.

Installing and Placing Your Shelving:

Depending on what style shelving unit you purchase installation instructions may or may not be included. If you are installing wire shelving units to assemble hold up 4 posts and insert wire shelves on posts. After installing 1 shelf and more the shelving unit will become more stable.

For wall mounted wall shelves installation just drill, or screw the brackets on to the shelf and the follow the same instruction to the wall. Be sure to use a tape measurer and pencil which can prevent un-aligned installations.
